Eyes turn gold

Eyes turn gold

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Amazing,
  some call it a miracle,
  beautiful sight to see.

They are not the ones,
  grasping the table,
  holding on to the table.

Knowing for a fact,
can't let the dragon run free.

Looks so damn pretty,
  but you wonder,
  why I grow so cold.

Trust me,
  don't be around me,
  those dangerous times,

Even as I grow old,
  dangerous time.

Eyes turn gold.

Your work is very special. I cannot express exactly how it affects me, so I am sitting here wondering how to write about this. Do not take that to mean that I do not have feeling about it. The gold eyes, the dragon, the danger, the warning, the explanation...you write with something special...did I say that already? :)
