Street Poet

Street Poet

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Nice and silky,
  draw you in,
  keep you happy,
earn some of my nightly bread.

Spin the web,
  catch the flyers by,
  draw you in closer.

Hoping to trap you.

Stay for a moment,
  maybe bring your friends.

Just listen for a bit,
  change will pay the due.
