Fireflies in the night.

Fireflies in the night.

A Chapter by Jon Roggie

Standing in the pasture.

Lights grown dim.

Alone with your thoughts.

Flashes flutter around you.

Take a moment.

Can't resist.

Reach out.

Feel a burn.

Sometimes while you grasp for lightning bugs,
you realize you have caught the stars.

Trying to organize a few. I still like the sound of this one.
Simple, beautiful, elegant. I feel like I just discovered new treasures untold.
