Last kiss

Last kiss

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Lovely morning,
  sun coming through the window.

Lazy morning,
  staying next to each other.

"Going for some treats.
   Get the coffee going."

Lips caress mine.

Once

Twice.

Thrice.

Moments later.

The sirens echo my screams.

Your works, Jon, are like the boxer's jabs. They keep you off balance and left dizzy and doubtful. I like the style even though they are filled with uncertainties. I liked it and will be reading more.
