Old Soul

Old Soul

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Can't explain it.

Certain smells just bring up so many feelings.

New foods bring up memories I shouldn't have.

Faces on the street remind me of someone I can't remember seeing.

Still, it's there.

Once in awhile,
 you catch that glance.

You see that puzzled stare.

I know you.

So many old souls.
