The Plunge

The Plunge

A Poem by Jon Roggie

The sudden chill.

The dive into the unknown.

Holding onto that last breath,
just waiting to see if it will last long enough.

The warmth of familiar waters,
as you rise to the surface.

Time to take a breath.

Time to dive deep again.
