Dancing Betwen the Raindrops

Dancing Betwen the Raindrops

A Poem by Jon Roggie

How can I say it?
I watch.
I listen.
Comes down to it,
  they all seem to lie.

One moment, they give support.
Next, they change their stance,
  and with that plastic smile,
  now they proclaim,
 This is what I meant.

Doesn't seem to matter.
Between changing what was supposed to be their beliefs,
seems like they all keep grasping for more.

Storm comes,
  despite the past,
  somehow they stay dry.

Dancing between the raindrops.
