Eyes

Eyes

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

This is one to stretch, scratch, and just have some fun.

"
Eyes.

The dodging eyes,
when the question is a bit on,
or close enough to make somebody nervous.

The "just keep looking at the ground" eyes,
 this even comes with varieties.
"No Way!  They can't prove a thing!"
"Don't look.  You'll start laughing, and then it's over, don't look!"

The eyes with a look where you don't even have to be told the bad news.

The best kind of eyes....

Eyes of a child,
  constant new experience,
  so trusting,
but ready to spark when you say no.

Eyes of a friend,
  mostly trusting,
but there was that one time....

Eyes of a lover....

Very different this one...I like the way you have dealt with this subject of eyes and the various ways they express. Your style is one that I enjoy very much.
