Weep Not For The NightA Poem by jsuEndless RepetitionWeep Not For The Night
Heaven slowly opens it’s door to a blackened sky. A calling of Gods pallet. The Day is born, so die the Night. It beckons forth the dawn in all its splendor. It bellows its presence in thunderous silence. Awake is the Sunrise. Weep not for the Night.
Born from the breath of awakening angels. It opens gloriously in triumphant score. A cavalcade of color that inundate our senses. The c**k crows, birds offer homage through song. The Sunrise is here. Weep not for the Night.
Its brief pageantry displayed, its demise begins. It submits in defiance in spectacular form. Death awaits Sunrise in the full light of Day. It Showers the horizon with hue filled tears. The Day is here. Weep not for the Sunrise .
Heavens door now closes to the blackening sky. A calling of Gods pallet, the Sunset is born, so die the Day. It beckons forth the dusk in all its splendor. It bellows its presence in thunderous silence. Sunset is born. Weep not for the Day.
Its brief pageantry displayed, its demise begins. It submits in defiance in spectacular form. Death awaits Sunset in the full dark of night It kisses the earth with long cast shadows. The night is here. Weep not for the Sunset.
Repetition is endless, so die one, so born the other. What was witnessed by Adam, is now witnessed by me. They have a perpetual destiny, an eternity shared, so....... Weep not for the day, as Sunsets. Weep not for the night as Sunrises. © 2017 jsu |
