The Written Chef

A Poem by JustWantLove
"

..cooking has taught me a great deal about my life; I will share..

"

I used to think that more is better
I've always thought it enriches life
I piled-up all that I thought would matter
I've thought that you would remove the strife
In kitchens, is where I find myself
   In fantasies, my heart's alive
In poetry, life speaks of love
   In life through dreams..
I realize:
   Each morsel compliments each other
Each flavor bathes in others' presence
Each spice is purpose, that's a lesson
Each soul is perfect in its essence
Echoes the hints of its uniqueness
Enchants the bliss of its existence
Endures the heat from flames of life
   Explodes in Ecstasy inside

..seems to me that it is too easy to overdo a great dish, all it takes is a sprinkle of the wrong spice to ruin it all; experimenting with ingredients is like life: we learn to combine that which works, to compose the heartwarming dish we set out to create!
