Ghost of Self

Ghost of Self

A Poem by JustWantLove
"

The truth lies in each and every one of us!

"
A star shines bright as cold air blows

In time all living matter softly knows,
A birch exists in places only know to Him,
Melodious and calm, the whispers brush and trim.

Existence is as far away as one knows of it,
So long attempted to express and show it,
As roots dig deeper and continue growth,
So much as no one, celebrate it's worth.

Dig deep and find the truth within you,
Push hard to sweep away the dark that blinds you,
Open your heart and listen to it closely,
You will unveil the voice which knows you mostly.

Forever more, all was and is, still will be,
Unheard-of whispers from the trees, they long to be,
To live and breathe so wanted in a life so quick,
Until the day when once it's life turns to a stick.

A forest of existence shadows life - you see it,
Unable to find out where one that sits - you wish to find it most,
Spent life in search of `Tree of Life` we use to mold it,
Only to find, that it existed somewhere in your mind -
Eternally, you learn - you sought a ghost.
