Finding Grounding

Finding Grounding

A Poem by Diana Wolf (Jacqueline Stone)

Look down what do you see?

Do you see anything?

Do you see a cave bottom?

Do you see a drop into an endless sky?

Is there an ocean, or and ocean floor or are you just past where the light shines surrounded by darkness?

Are you in your childhood home trapped, or loved?

Finding where you start is helpful

It gives you an idea of where you need to go for solid ground

It is not an easy journey, but it’s worth the try

The path you find to get from where you are to where you want to be can become the ground you walk on

Having grounding does not mean you are stuck in one spot

It means there is somewhere solid to return to when you get lost in a wibbly wobbly world
