Whiskers

Whiskers

A Poem by Diana Wolf (Jacqueline Stone)

The things that pull us to great heights

They whisk us away to different lands

Sometimes it’s to learn where we need to go

Sometimes it’s to learn to appreciate what we have

When we are whisked away our minds can open up to new possibilities

See things we never thought possible

Perspective changes, path correctors, heart menders

These side quests support our learning and enrich our lives

When you return

Thank them whenever you can for their lessons

Your title lead me to believe your poem would speak of those pesky hairs we all wish we could whisk away more easily and less needfully...BUT your clever choice was a good draw to a poem espousing gratefulness to and for those whom are truly OUR whiskers.... just such a clever perspective...thank you for the LESSON you have conveyed!

Thank You for your review. The twist on the word is kind of what I intended.
