Rainbow Reformation

Rainbow Reformation

A Poem by Diana Wolf (Jacqueline Stone)

I’m ready to see colors

More than the blacks, whites and all the different shades of gray

I’m ready to see the rainbow the world is made out of

The different hues of red found in a fire

The yellows of different flowers

The shimmering blues of streams that flow past me

As well as all the ways they mix to create the new shades

The oranges and pinks that capture the sky when the sun is kissing the horizon

The deep purples and greens that shade the under growth

All the browns feeding me

The collection of water droplets and sunlight that signify the end of a rain

The rainbow I see then, I am ready to see everywhere

Every shade next to each other creating a sight worthy of a god
