What if Nothing was Wrong with Me?

What if Nothing was Wrong with Me?

A Poem by Diana Wolf (Jacqueline Stone)

If nothing was wrong with me I could go my own pace

If nothing was wrong with me I could listen better

If nothing was wrong with me I could be more helpful

If nothing was wrong with me I wouldn’t be so useless

If nothing was wrong with me I could move

If nothing was wrong with me feel more of my feelings

If nothing was wrong with me I could work better with others

If nothing was wrong with me I could be stronger

If nothing was wrong with me I could be less sensitive

If nothing was wrong with me I could climb to higher heights than I ever thought possible

But here I am sitting still

Pondering all my shortcomings

Unable to see what I am
