Disguised Beauty

Disguised Beauty

A Poem by J. Rose

I've seen the devil smirk back at me through the eyes of an angel,

And a halo hidden inside the cape of the devil,

I guess it's true when they say appearances can be deceiving,

But let me tell you, there is nothing more beautiful than when

someone isn't afraid to show you who they are underneath.

So true. I like the description in the first few lines and how you wrapped the poem up in the end. Truly beautiful. Nice writing.

This is a powerful piece, you should be proud of. Yes, you are absolutely
correct, it is so moving when you are able to see someone's true colors,
with this fallen world, very seldom will you see those peeps.
Thanks for sharing and b-blessed!
