Inspired by a song. "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" by Brand New.
The sky was black and filled with stars. The quiet tunes of the radio were the only sounds on the highway. Jody was soundly asleep in the passenger's seat. The two were on the way home from the movies. The night had gone perfectly. All Zach had to do now was walk Jody to her door and kiss her good night. He started to feel sleepy so he looked down to turn up the radio. As he looked up after only a second there was a man standing in the middle of the road. Zach quickly swerved off of the road in attempt to avoid hitting the man. As they spun to a screeching halt the man was gone. They had hit a small embankment, and the car was now on its top. Jody was screaming at the top of her lungs. The windshield was cracked and Zach had blood running all over. He looked at Jody in horror. Her seatbelt had cut her neck and the dash was halfway through her legs. As the paramedics arrived he watched as the fire department slowly cut his love from the car. Her condition called for a small operation on the scene. Zach watched in terror as Jody got worse and worse. Thirty minutes had passed when he heard a paramedic say, "Time of death: one fourty three a.m." Zach immediately looked to Jody just to see her looking around and crying. He looked down to his feet in confusion. On the ground was his lifeless body, staring up at him.
This is the first piece of prose I ever wrote. No, it isn't very good. But after having not read it for a few years, I did kind of get a few chills down my spine at the end.

Liar. I think it is good.
It has that damned twist at the end that throws people off.
I was thinking, she died? Ew, that would be a weird way to die, for your legs to be half cut in half by a seat belt And then it said, he died, and i was slightly confused. But it made sense.
I kind of want to know who was in the street, but it seems to me, he was tired and was seeing things...
Anyway, thank you for writing, i'm pyshicing myself up to read Ori. Not too found of anything with cannibals, but your writing draws me in. -prances off to read- you should get another review from me...
Ja Ne!
I write on many different topics in a few different styles. For the most part, you could say I'm just testing my abilities and finding what I am best at. I tend to take experiences from my own life, a.. more..
