Women or a Beer?A Poem by Jeff McHughThe dilemma that men faceCome one, come all and listen close The choice is made right here What will you choose when given facts, Will you choose women or a beer? Both Diverse, if you're worried Blonde, Brown, Red, or Amber You're free to choose just listen close Hear me out before you answer We're here to look at differences I'll name just a few Let's start with the most obvious Beer won't yell at you Beer never breaks your heart Beer won't up and run Beer doesn't have a father To threaten with a gun A beer becomes happy When you leave it in the cold Try to do that to a Woman You won't live to be that old Beer can't get upset If you long for a new start Women on the other hand Known to kill, ask Roxie Hart A beer tends not to ask you "Does this make me look fat?" I still don't know the answer I sleep on the couch for that Beer wants you to be happy Says "Go out with the guys" Your woman, she will force you Watch the Notebook as she cries A beer won't try to change you Likes you just the way you are If you don't live to please her She'll hit you with her car A beer's one fault, its time too short You'll mourn it when it's gone It's proven women outlast men She'll haunt you all life long When my girlfriend finds this poem Pray, please pray for me If you want to pray straight to my face I'm underground at your nearest cemetery
