Dealing with regret

I'm jealous of keyboards

Especially their top right command

That backspace button taunts me

As it shifts beneath my hand

For what if we could use it

On a moment in our life 

Erase a bad decision

Spare ourselves some strife

I know how I would use mine

 On the one that got away

I'd backspace til the beginning

This time she would stay

They say each hurt's a lesson

You grow and grow like trees

But sometimes it's too much

Don't rely on backspace, please

This was an adorable piece! I'm practically blushing over here :/ anyway, I love the concept of this write, the fact that the backspace button would be able to have noticeable use in the real world. A fantasy we all wish was true! Pressing the button until we are at the beginning, just hoping to change our ending or different parts that become rocky or scary. This is an amazing piece! Well done!

I think people who claim to have no regrets are in denial, we get so educated but there aren't courses on how to choose the right partner or who not to fall in love with - which is absurd.
