May in the morning and afternoon, May in the evening

May in the morning and afternoon, May in the evening

A Poem by J Schwenk
"

Enjoy each day as it passes.

"
The window is covered with raindrops
The busy street is clear of tourists
Surrounded by people in a café
The smell of coffee lingers
A morning in May
Cloudy rainy morning
I wouldn't want to be anywhere
But here
Red telephone booths embroidered every corner of the streets
People drinking fine tea
I want to be a tea lover
Love adventure
Adventure around the world
Time passed
An afternoon in May
Writing in my book
People watching
Soft music in the background
The rain eased
People are wandering about in the streets
Stars in the sky
An evening in May
Candlelights appeared in the city

What a beautiful poem. I love the imagery here. I can envision all that is you wrote about in the poem.

And thank you for reading xx
Yep, England alright, it sounds as if you were not a naitive and you share your point of view as an outsider. I like that bit were you make an allusion to the change of lighting. The darkness of the early evening surrounded by that bad lighting of a yellowish nature rather than anything that would actually illuminate but in the meantime the hustle and bustle continues.

London hey?

That's why I live removed in he country side.

Thankyou
