Prayers to the Light

Prayers to the Light

A Poem by J Schwenk
"

Take it easy.

"
The bright light
Far away
Shining through the darkness
In the midst of all the chaos
So serene
I send prayers
Through the darkness
I send prayers
For everything to be all right
I send prayers
To the light
May the future
Be bright
May it ease all stress
The unknown
I take a deep breath
For everything to be all right
Searching for the truth
Working against the current
Instead of going with the flow
Breathe easy
Child of the universe
Breathe easy
For I send
Prayers
To
The
Light.

Nice and very positive read.... the frequent mention of darkness makes the light seems more willing. Thanks for the review invite buddy!

The imagery of prayers pushing through the darkness to reach the light is touching. This piece definitely uplifts and turns my mind's eye toward the Light.

Thank you for your thoughts! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
It's easy to gain inspiration from this, we have to remember the light is always there...
We shouldn't shut it out.

Trying to work though moments of darkness is a compulsory - obligation, or so it seems as the world to day has not got an abundance of light to offer. So in this writing we find suggestions of how to approach them dark placesm, without fear, with openess and mindfulness with the desire to understand what is behind them.

Very uplifting

Thankyou
