The sun and moon

The sun and moon

A Poem by J Schwenk
"

Light and dark.

"

Looking up at the sky

The sun glared down on me

It felt cold

No warmth

During the bright daylight

A black facade covered the sky

Jewels embrodiered the canvas

The moon felt hot

Against my bare shoulders

Dancing in the moonlight

Cold sun

Hot moon

Peering in the sky

It felt cold

It felt warm

Basking in the light

The sun says good morning

The moon says good night

And here I am

Way, way down there

Can you see me?

I guess sometimes there's more than what you see on the surface.
