Crimson

Crimson

A Poem by E. R. Rawding
"

An abused child who is considering ending it all...

"
“I’ll always be there for you.”
What if I don’t want you?
What if I don’t want the hate, the anger, the hell that is you “being there for me?”
What if I want freedom? Will you still be there for me, when it means never seeing me again?
What if I want to leave? What will you say when I’m gone?
What will you say when you find me, with my heart stopped?
What will you say when you find me, floating in a crimson pool of my own doing?
“I was always there for him.” Who will tell you that you weren’t?
Who will watch you rip up the note, the note emblazoned with four simple words?
“This Is Your Fault”
Who will you tell that you drove me to this, this point of no return?
How will you live the rest of your life?
I guess I’ll never know, will I?

Honestly, I don't really see the abused part here. It just seems to me like a whole emotional break down without explanation of why it's happening. Even so, I like the dark and tragic approach. The way the words were conveyed were intense and passionate.

Keep Writing. ^___^

This was nice. I liked the feeling that one can get from reading it and the sort of similarity, almost a famliar tone. Keep up the great work, I look forward to more. (:
