Unknown soulsA Poem by johnA poem I wrote.Certainly the unknown ghosts of time, those unborn youth that were denied a right to life by our mere existent should be give some thought; A one in a trillion chance of me do I feel lucky punk? well do I? Do I complain that it wasn't good enough that I was robbed of some opportunity for better when ironically I was given more opportunity than trillions of the unborn or unwanted. Before you lie, look and think about all the people you hurt with those words, think of the unborn that could be in your place and make your decisions. Before you insult, think about what that person had to do to get to where they are. It is not just wrong it is completely against your destiny as a human being to feel hopeless when being alive in itself is a miracle. Before you hate, what has this person done so bad that you could never see a future with them, and is it right to blot their existence out like you are the god? so you are the omnipotent one who knows everything there ever was to know about that person But most of all feel grateful because sometimes in the hard journey that life can only be described as, you only have that feeling of luck even when you feel like the most unlucky and useless soul to ever grace the bluest of the blues and the lowest of the valleys. © 2013 john |
