The danger of artifical knowledge

The danger of artifical knowledge

A Story by john
"

A very small philosophical work.

"

As societies are becoming more and more automatic it is almost an industrial revolution of sorts, just
look at what power we have given robotics and computer technology. It is almost as if the scientists have not seen the movies that are inspired by their actions. While the computers have been becoming increasingly intelligent we are devaluing knowledge because we can just look up from a computer. We will never stop and realize the effects of our actions because will largely not even see how fast it is occurring. Just look at technology like the cell phone, many people with more years on them than me would tell you that they would of never thought of such ideas flying cars and skateboards were more reasonable!

So what is the outcome of this going to be, well there are two paths we can go on, but we can still change what we do with technology. Isn't science a great paradox a creator of great joy and change but at the same time the creator of jaded coldness at the very least and horrible pain and suffering at the most?

A computer cannot feel hate, anger, love so if we give them too much sentience and they destroy us they will not care. A computer doesn't have a struggle or pain and as ironic as it is that this is being written on a computer maybe a computer should not be given so much power because if they take us over and have power over the world who says that they will do a better job.
