Cover your dreams

A poem I wrote.

One day you will wake to find 

all that you love has died,

you will pretend to be blind

and you will probably cry.

Dreams cover reality in truth,

dream away while you can

and if someone finds it uncouth

do not give into their demands.

Life is not fair so why care?

Some of us given incredible wings to spread

but they don't go where they should be lead.

Life is not fair so why care?

Some of us given nothing but rise to incredible heights,

They are the ones that saw the light.
