Pitch blackA Poem by johnA poem I wrote.A dark cold windless night, isn't it just any other? For this comforts me, no need to open the blinds or shutters. The whole universe out there to see, beautiful yellows and whites. Look out into a pitch black sky, and tell me she isn't a majestic sight. Love is a gamble and fate by definition is one too so what chance do me and you have? Know that you are blessed for live in a beautiful Nest, that is so often misunderstood. The City lies cold and stark but strangely has a charm, Make out the shapes of buildings and people that you could never alarm. I could go out now but my feet won't let me go, maybe it was never my destiny to ever truly know.
