Please not today

A song I wrote.

Please just not today
Don't let anxiety come my way
slowly I get up and say
I won't let it turn out this way.

Please take what you will
take my mind, just take your fill,
my inhibitions will suffice
for everything that I perceive as right.

Please not today
don't make it be this way,
do what you will
just don't involve me.

Just not today
leave it for another day,
my mind is not ready
for what you're about to say.

oh my god! "my mind is not ready
for what you're about to say." the poem is so standard in rhythm but SO PURE! so amazing , it's like eating a peach and getting to the seed and to the root. Truly this poem is amazing :D congrats ! LOVE IT XD
