Friends

A poem

 
Good friends drift apart like a boat in the sea
that is the way my life seems to be,
and after you try to look into someones soul
they leave you there never to know.

Feel all alone craving the love
just a friend that I could truly understand
someone to guide someone to hug.

Love is an emotion I cannot fully hold,
Something that I don't think that I will ever truly know
because its one step forward two steps behind
everywhere I go.
