Hourglass

Hourglass

A Poem by john
"

Lyrics that I thought sounded just as good as a poem.

"
Time has passed now,
but I feel all the same.

Live and let lose a motto,
I adopted along the way.

Give me time to fish for a reason
that you never gave me.

Pull that rusty harpoon
out of my back. Because
life ain't worth living without
a few things you'll regret.

I'm stronger now but life still
hurts all the same.

My hourglass of time
has spilled everywhere
and now I see.

Its not what you have but what
you give along the way.
