Savages

Savages

A Poem by JR

Stood in the rain,

let it wash over me,

caress my naked skin with

rivulets of water

and something that

sounded as thunder

made me run my history

realize I had everything

right now to be happy…

anything more is a want,

not a need, so

we are all savages of greed

especially me.
