Go Quiet

Go Quiet

A Poem by JR

Go quiet, now

go quiet and calm and

all things follow into

silence, the cars on the street

birds in their morning

ecstasy wind that strokes

the trees like an endless

beard all the neighbors

this house sleeping and

creaking and quiet and maybe

just maybe my mind

will go along; all quiet

all calm

peace in the valley,

peace on the farm.
