Oh The Flowers

Oh The Flowers

A Poem by JR

Oh the flowers, they are going

and where will I be

when they are gone

they powder beneath the weight

of my hungry fingers

vanish with a gasp

and oh and oh

wherever will the flowers

go can I not

disappear

along with them?

Impermanence is what it is... it's the longing for permanence that sucks for me.
