Anything Without Air

Anything Without Air

A Poem by JR

(anything without air)

they press in the sides

fold the plastic like a clamshell

(anything without air)

they use heat to seal

the edges in around me

(anything without air)

protection, they say

I am protected

(anything without air)

but I don’t feel safe

I feel I am choking anyway because

anything without air

will die.
