Last Town

Last Town

A Poem by JR

It feels as tho we are

the last town on Earth, the last

black spot on the map, the

last gasp of history;

It feels as tho we are

clawing out roots, rebirth

exploding into air like a

wide young sycamore tree;

It feels as tho this world

birthed so many things

of worth but still missed

the one thing I need.
