Tiger

Tiger

A Poem by JR

I don’t want to hide behind

these four walls

if there’s a tiger out there,

let’s go get it or at least

invite it inside;

I don’t want to fear death

so if there’s a tiger out there

let’s bring him inside

invite him to feast of my guts

so soft and fleshy

invite him to feast on my heart

so unnecessary

invite him to feast on my head

as there is only time

for thoughts of him;

If there’s a tiger out there

invite him in

it’s been awhile since

I’ve had to fear for my life.

“invite him to feast of my guts

That really got to me man! Lol.
Great message and very relatable to current mass hysteria and panic prevailing about the virus. Let’s face it it head on. No point in living in fear and dying everyday.
