TGTR

A Poem by JR

Oh god I love the way you touch me

you make me shiver

forty-five minutes in…

I am caught up in the sound

in the heavy hip of you

in the way light bends through

wavelengths mimicking the sun

the tap of fingers, light

sticks upon the drums, light

fingers hold the pick, light

waiting and waiting

building for something more

than light fractured

or your fingertips

so feather

against my skin.
