CockyA Poem by JRLittle box elder bug, watching him working his way down the tile near the shower while I’m sitting here on the toilet I wonder if it’s the same little guy I saw getting laid out by the fire pit yesterday being dragged around by his woman I watched, not without sympathy as they screwed and screwed and him helpless on his back, attached by his dick, carried away as she ran in fear of my bearded face I bet it’s the same one, he’s got that cocky strut like he just made a queen; Now he’s just taking sweet time working his way out of the shower where he drank to quench his thirst he’s probably on the prowl I mean, just look at that strut he’s got the whole world out there right in front of him, for the taking he just made a goddamn queen he thinks he can have it all; He’s not worried about a Chinese super flu or ex-wives, or daughters or taxes or Disney f*****g up Star Wars or Wall Street taking a swan dive into the dirt or fire insurance and liars paying conmen paying sinners screwing us all in the process, flat on our backs attached by our dicks or speeding tickets, drinking beers or giving up whiskey for Lent nope, all he’s worried about is his next meal and his next lay maybe not even in that order and hell I’m just a little jealous … that little black and red b*****d thinks he can have it all; When I finish my business on the toilet I’m going to take off my slipper and whack him with it as hard as I can… I’ll bet that puts a serious crimp in that cocky little walk of his maybe teach him no one can have everything. © 2020 JR |
