Hades

Hades

A Poem by JR

So swiftly we snatch for any Paradise

lose our grip, fall again, alone

like Lucifer, denied his throne

tossed out by the hand

from his lofty home

to tumble

and twist

like us

he

fell

alone;

denied

the garden

he built his own
