My words be swarming

as thoughts are forming

and they are spawning

a verbal warning.

About global warming

but I see y'all yawning.

It's the future y'all pawning.

A new day is dawning.

The earth is not calming.

She is a cauldron

and Her fire is scalding

as our children are crawling

to the ever sprawling

brim as they peer in

and see that it's our sin

that's bubbling and boiling

with our lack of action

as we continue soiling,

uncorking and uncoiling

a future of poison

due to our unloyal

and selfish spoiling.

 

Where's the justice?

 

Well f**k justice!

I only seek peace

and understanding

of other species.

Open minds meandering

on a different thesis.

Life on another planet in the creases

of a galaxy I call the Reese's,

cause our lives here are on leases

untill the universe uncorks and unleashes

it's final frequence in a dream sequence

for which there is no defense.

Exchange the present for a future prescence

so let's drop the pretense

and drop to knees bent.

It's time to relent

and time to repent

cause every moment

is Heaven sent.

Definitely has an intoxicating rhythm that adds to the feeling of the poem in its entirety.
It does make me sad though how people seem to be blind to it all.
But this will wake someone the hell up.
Truly great and inspiring.

Cool rant. The message is strong, I like the picture of the children peering over the brim of bubbling and boiling sin. It's the way of the world, always has been, sad but true. I like how you stuck with the rhyme but I did find the 'ings' a bit distracting, oh and there's another one right there :)
