Rust

Rust

A Poem by butterfly

where has love gone
when all we get is lust in the end
only the truest love can come from God
Farewell my dear Ben
Just like all the Jens
We cry our tears in the end
I still need someone to hold and hold me too
I still need someone to sex me and love me too
I want to love somebody but no one loves anymore
I am still waiting outside this eternal locked door
how lonely it can be
no one sees
I try to have you remember me
but you just went home to her
in a new house
to dream
and sleep
The drug has lost its flavor
when lust is all there is to savor
so goodbye to this old life forever more
please dear phantom dont come knocking on my door
its supposed to be fun if its just lust
there is nothing here but rust.....

Wishing love and out of isolation and turmoil. There will be tru love from God in this world. The temporary desires will pave way to satisfactory more meaningful connections. Love and Lust grips all but when its lust alone it leaves us into rust as you so rightly point out. The raw expression of poem successfully replaces fleeting relationships and creates a longing for a genuine love although many a times it can be very difficult to find but its certainly not impossible. Let Love come and heal! Nicely written lines, evolving matured in handling expectations and realtionships.
