Where only love can lift

I embrace my lonely existence

But dreams and visions of him shape the distance

I know its wrong and I try to give it up to God

I still feel the need and the want in my blood

Is it love

he doesn't love anybody

so i wont let him touch my body

yet every love scene in every book

is how ours look

I can only pray that this heartache will fade

bringing me more than this bleak earth can display

till then memory is the gift

taking me where only love can lift
