In the Moon's shadow

In the Moon's shadow

A Poem by butterfly
"

When only nature and the divine can soothe away what humans have broken....venting but I wanted it to be dreamy....

"
I can let go
As I sit wrapped like a blanket in the moon's shadow
Maybe its better to be alone
I'm tired and sad
Broken but still feel tough like a stone
Its too bad in wonderland
Just want that dream lover
Like Mariah said
No evil lying husbands in my bed
If they dare again to tread
Beware there will be more leaves to shred
Tonight I make a true oath
I can stand on my own
Till I find somebody to stand by me
by the ladies
tell me trump wives when you vote did you stand by she?
How can you fight only for an unborn being but ignore the girl or lady
the wonder drives me crazy
knowing what the husbands be doing on the dating apps cause the wives get lazy
is that what the vow means for better or worse
in my singledom have I been spared that curse
I can't understand the map
Life is a mystery
We can't worry
I need a nap
I just want to be alone
Till its love that wraps me like a blanket in the moon's shadow.

i also feel great disappointment and anger at the results of the election. the absurdity of the far-right has left me in a state of bewilderment. in this environment of hostility that has already begun, it's crucial now to stand on one's own feet. i wish you courage, friend.
i too will do what i can to make a small difference.
