Ocean of my tears

Ocean of my tears

A Poem by butterfly

Turning lemons in to lemon meringue
Its all just a flavor to tolerate
Sad some boys just dont  know how to hang
Sad what some boys choose as fate
I heard him when he said it was too late
But he still kept blocking my way
not letting me leave
then with a bang came some fairies with pixie dust fang
now the snake venom vanishes without a trace
Tonight I just sit and read as the rain washes all this decayed toxic brain away
For it must be a TBI to make me stay
I walk in my own made burning flame
I lock the door on us babe
And delight in the burning of all that is toxic and fake
I always needed your love you needed mine and I gave
All I get in return is a girl i thought he would never forsake
Barely gives me the time of day
Didn't you say I am the best?
Why do you do it to your own princess?
Because he lies to himself about happiness
with a Jesus tattoo on his chest
I swim in the pain of this difficult test
there is nothing for me here
just the boring sound from the ocean of my tears
