Sky without stars

why can’t he make time for me
make it better
but when a man dont love
this is the ugly letter
he gets the scarlet A
for being an a*****e
for settling for this empty soul
i wanted to save him
but he keeps walking farther in to the black hole
he resides in stockton
he tells me he is just doing the best he can
he isn’t living the dream
just continues to be the lying man
God please guide me
my heart has fallen apart
even in this dark i try to hate
but its the love that navigates me through the sky without stars

a very captivating title. it captures the feeling of despair with great imagery. and in the poem, you told your story so expressively. i hope you find your way through the dark and see the sunrise soon.

Yes, it's as if your desire for "love" is what guides you; in the last line of this poem. "He isn't living the dream", so it's possible that "he" isn't capable. However, if he has strung you along by giving the opposite impression on purpose; you probably shouldn't trust him about much else? Furthermore, you tried to "save" this guy; and yet he keeps walking onwards into oblivion ("the black hole"). You deserve not to be misled, by some arsehole man like that.
