A Poem by butterfly

inspired by the movie star man...

I will remember the feel of you
washing over me in my small room
the lights in the window
our bodies spilled together
with rivers and shadows
like beams of the moon
a star man and a star woman
colliding from different planets
from different worlds
its why we are not destined to be soul mates
just individual boys and girls
dreaming of murmuration
swoops and swirls
of wild imagination
together in flight
forever laying entwined
the height of romance
in the end
there was no chance
when a star man and a star woman
collide from different planets
