Undrugged

Undrugged

A Poem by butterfly
"

free from all bad boys, my own personal drug...love for love...hopeless romantics do you get it? I do not I just write the words in my head...

"
I found a place where love exists
Sometimes I feel like an unseen spirit
Then you come and whisper and she has witnessed
the poetic twists that dangle on the page
the rhymes and the lyrical that come our way
its often the reader that makes our face
When in this bleak reality where the DMV stays the same
Yet even when in the mall
there is no escape from the bitchy ones at all
I was saved by Artly he is the hero of the day
Delightful robot coffee maker for dirty taro iced latte
I tried to find a place to be
the meaning of life for me
how to ride the currents of the city
I simply don't know
I have been unplugged
My lover to Stockton he now calls home
God wants me on this mission alone undrugged
On his wife's bed he still texts naked photo
Another ex lover now friend asks how my day go
so in the end here I am in this new world
Trying to connect with poetic boy or girl
crying but not dying for expensive experience pearl
I am no longer an unseen spirit
God has sent me on my personal mission
often the directions are hidden
With power He freed me from it
the stress, the bullshit
yet the world is new
He knows I still miss you
still she must witness
a place where love exists...
in the unplugged
solo and undrugged
