i found my Louie V cap
the old me before i knew you emerges at last
i had many good times
from the clubbing days to those sweet kisses at night
sometimes maybe this is the way the fairytale ends
i was brave enough to not pretend
despite what they told me we became friends

so now I will forget you
the death of us no longer makes me blue
the death of who I was is no longer stuck on me like glue

I didn’t get all these things from being a wife
I am the single lady
i feel the return of my angel wings baby
now I get to take my time as i feel energetically high
I absorb the release of all this crazy
why am i single
i fell in love with a married man
i savor the fun when we mingled
