My Home

My Home

A Poem by butterfly

No rhyme or reason
Without explanation
We have our season
Humanity was mixed with complication
I cant see how to be without completely
I must try harder
Be smarter
Thats what they say
clear as a blue sky day
I just can't make my heart behave
They dont know my home is in his embrace
Am I the one cheating
Am I really causing another heart to stop beating
Wrong or right I blocked him but he leaves me notes
I download the app there are the messages on the screen
Tonight he tells me good night, he really misses me
I am there somewhere in his heart in his life
But nothing is new still busy all the time
Yet not even his complicated prize
will take him from my side
I am tired I just can't decide
Life is too hard to say goodbye
How do you stop loving someone for all time
How can I ignore him
Where is the sin
I have no rhyme or reason
He and I have our season
I will stay until winter comes
Freezes us with the cool
Healing for the fool
Leaving us cold like a barren tree
I will be reborn completely
Maybe I am stuck
How do you separate love
Whatever he does
I still do me
How do you stop loving someone completely
i hear what they say
If I am not your everything
Maybe I will be your nothing
I feel like there is still something
The sound of a foolish heart beating
I still like what he is giving
I can't stop him from coming or leaving
He has me hooked to his side
How do you stop loving someone for all time
He always tells me I will want you always
Hades has Persephone in his hold
Locked in the underground cold
We are lovely ghosts
Yet I am still whole
But he will never know
In his embrace is my home
