humans falling not angels from above

2021 is a year  of learning

trying to heal so many hurting

the men hit the women

with their fist and empty kiss

claiming rights to the vagina and cuddling nights

yet not willing to make time

 to know my name

or be brave enough to kiss the flame

like a moth i burn

yet all i learn

is because of love I will always return

hear the roar of love

watch it ignite the fire for all the bad to burn around us

as we start anew each one getting better

rewriting that old love letter

so many choose to lay by their spouse

while still feeling unhappiness in home and house

husbands killing wives

living secret lives

Fathers owning daughters

while parents fall asleep

while teens rape the children

the demons lie in the distance

but if we give in to the roar of love

we ignite the fire that burns all the bad around us

every day can be valentine's not just to your wife and husband

maybe to the earth maybe to that homeless person

for God gave us the greatest valentine of all

When He breathed life and still catching us when we fall

for all the bad burns around us

yet we stand protected in His roar of love.
